The Jews, particularly those ravaged by Iranian backed Hamas wolves, likely would characterize former President Barack Obama’s remarks concerning Hamas’ violent attack on Israeli Jews attending a music festival as a form of extreme hutzpah.
People in Connecticut who have voted numerous times for U.S. Senator Dick Blumenthal, a prominent Jew, might want to know how he would characterize Obama’s remarks. Others have weighed in, while U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer, another prominent Northeast Jew, remains unaccountably silent. What cat, one wants to ask, has got your tongue?
In an interview with alumni of his administration on Pod Save America, Obama offered his opinion on the ongoing war following the initial attack that killed 1,400 Israelis on Oct. 7. He fulsomely condemned Hamas’ actions but suggested that additional history is needed to contextualize the situation.
Obama wants people in the United States to examine the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, as befits a lawyer, so help them God.
"What Hamas did,” Obama said, “was horrific, and there is no justification for it. And what is also true is that the occupation, and what’s happening to Palestinians, is unbearable, and what is also true is that there is a history of the Jewish people that may be dismissed unless your grandparents, or your great-great-grandparents, or your uncle or your aunt tell you stories about the madness of anti-Semitism, and what is true is that there are people right now that are dying who have nothing to do with what Hamas did.
"If you want to solve the problem, then you have to take in the whole truth. And you then have to admit nobody’s hands are clean, that all of us are complicit to some degree."
Well now, complicit in what, and to what degree? It would hardly make sense that Blumenthal and Schumer are equally responsible for Hamas’ murderous assault on Israel’s young music lovers. And, of course, Obama leaves the apportioning of guilt to be determined later, following much needed introspection.
It is the introspection, in Obama’s view, that is important. Apparently, he has already examined his own conscience and pronounced himself not guilty.
Obama is the most transcendent president the nation has seen in its history. But, he has told us, moral transcendence is a form of escapism into irrational irresponsibility, and we should avoid such acts of moral cowardice -- for we are all guilty “to some degree.”
Obama is by no means alone in his transcendent view.
In the bloody contest between the terrorist, Iran-reliant government of Gaza and Israel, a state besieged since 1948 by those who fervently wish to push Israel into the sea, the U.S. media has become strangely objective and non-partisan, just like Obama.
The notion that Israel should abide by a ceasefire following the continuing Iran-supported attack on the state of Israel by Shia Muslims with knives in their brains should have produced a loud guffaw in universities across the United States and in Europe’s anti-Semitic petting zoos. It has given birth to protests supporting Hamas – which, need it be mentioned again, is the government of Gaza – and moral confusion in the minds of perpetually confused Americans.

The Nazis could have used such support from the morally
indifferent just prior to the Normandy Landing of American troops in 1944, a
wartime assault much more remorseless than is commonly supposed that freed
Europe from Nazi domination.
Israel – if it is successful in prosecuting a war that liberates Gaza from Hamas – should not pause in its efforts, and the fire that Hamas has drawn down upon its own head should continue until victory has been assured, after which a real peace between Israel and Gazans, the so called two state solution, may be possible.
What a pity that the history of real liberation movements is no longer taught in ivy draped U.S. Universities, some of whose students appear to be complicit in the destruction of Israel by acts of moral transcenden
Referencing Obama’s transcendence to Cloud Cuckoo Land- –

"There is going to be a lot to say about this horrifying quote from a former
president of the United States, but this is the simplest: He is complicit. His
behavior toward Iran played a role in what happened on October 7."
