CT's Loss is SC's Gain

CTNews Junkie reports:

PTR, a Bristol-based semi-automatic weapons manufacturer, started looking at a move south when the state made the sale of its guns illegal in Connecticut following the massacre of 26 people at an elementary school in Newtown.

What I find most interesting is that most of the younger skilled machinists went with the company. There are few if any other jobs like theirs in CT and their cost of living dropped 30% in SC. Another unreported thing is that living in the south means living without many of the other nanny state restrictions we have in CT. The guys can ride their ATV's, shoot their guns (they make them and many own and like to shoot them) at ranges, etc. and not be treated like some kind of terrorist.
