Hypocrisy and unseemliness are politician's tricks, not avenues to a new, improved persona. As a senator, Blumenthal is a member of the Veterans Committee and the Judiciary Committee--the two least likely committees one would think he was qualified for considering his performance as AG. I'm sure no one has forgotten Blumenthal's disgraceful, false identification with Vietnam War veterans. And as I have been exposing over the past few years as an investigative journalist, there has been widespread and chronic criminalization and politicalization of the state's attorneys system during Blumenthal's time as AG. While this may not progress with new political leaders now in place, nothing has been done to undo the situation. Blumenthal is a paradigm of Big Government allied with Big Business and Big Law to the detriment of ordinary citizens. His career reflects how it is that the country has come to be no longer a democracy, but a plutocrat's dream.Henry Berryhttp://henryberryinct.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
